The Reading Tub

Just discovered this site for kids book reviews! The Reading Tub is definitely worth checking out!

Aw, thank you! Our whole reason for being is to meet your challenge to "find books that are geared towards the reading levels of my children yet keep the content age appropriate." I'm so glad you've jumped in the Tub!

Welcome!

Since the time my children were born, books have always surrounded them! From the time my son could sit up he was paging through books and magazines (and without tearing the pages!)

As they have begun learning to read, I have found it challenging sometimes to find books that are geared towards the reading levels of my children yet keep the content age appropriate. Many other sites are geared towards teachers or librarians to help select books for their students or patrons. Others are written by people who love reading but do not have children of their own (which is ok but their perspectives are different from mine at times). While somewhat helpful, the sites I've come across are still missing the nuts and bolts that I'm looking for to help me get the books my kids want to read into their hands--and keep them reading. I hope you find what you are looking for here too!

This blog is my effort to solve that problem! I've come across several other resources that I want to collect in one place for my own reference. I hope it will help others too!
